Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct is rooted firmly in our school values. It sets out the expectations we have for behaviour, attitudes and relationships within our community, ensuring that every pupil feels safe, respected and able to thrive.
It is not simply a set of rules, but a shared commitment to living out our values each day — in the classroom, on the playground and beyond.
If any pupil ever feels unsure, needs guidance, or requires support in meeting these expectations, we are always here to help. We work closely with pupils and families to ensure that every child feels understood, supported and encouraged to make positive choices.
Parent Code of Conduct
Pupils and staff at the Dean Close Foundation follow clear codes of conduct. The Parent Code of Conduct outlines how parents and carers can work together with us to ensure a community characterised by Love, Courage, Contribution and Flourishing.
A school can only thrive when relationships are based on mutual respect, open and constructive communication, and shared responsibility for the wellbeing of young people.
Our Parent Code of Conduct has been emailed to all current parents and is available to both prospective and current parents upon request. Please contact the School Office if you would like a copy. The Code of Conduct can be provided either electronically via email or as a printed paper copy..
