What our fees include

  • Wraparound care from 7.55am to 5.50pm
  • Freshly prepared breakfast, and hot meals for lunch

  • Weekly Forest School visits with specialist Forest School leaders

What our fees exclude

  • Some after-school clubs run by external providers, including Ballet, Rugby Tots, or Gymnastics - please see our clubs here

  • School Uniform 
  • Holiday Clubs outside of term time - they are run by our external provider P.L.A.Y Active

Registration Fee & Deposit

A non-refundable registration fee payment of £125 is due when a pupil is registered with us. An acceptance deposit of £250 is then required for all pupils.

Early Years Funding

Early Years Funding is available from the term following a child’s 3rd birthday until the term in which they turn five. It entitles the child to 15 hours of free child care per week, and a further 15 free hours per week may be available depending on parental circumstances. St John’s splits those hours into blocks of 3 hours; each morning includes one, free, 3 hour block (8:30am – 11:30am) as does each afternoon session (1:30pm – 4:30pm). A full day includes two, free, 3 hour blocks (8:30am – 11:30am and 1:30pm – 4:30pm).  The School does not allow attendance at part sessions with the exception of children who attend only for their free entitlement hours; the number of these places is limited.

Childcare Vouchers & Tax Free Childcare

The School is happy to accept Childcare Vouchers in part payment against the fees for children in the PrePrep from the term after their 3rd birthday up to and including the term in which they reach the age of five. Parents should note St John’s is able to accept Childcare Vouchers towards the payment of the boarding element of boarding fees. We also accept payments from the Tax Free Childcare Scheme. We can accept vouchers up to the end of the academic year in which children celebrate their 15th birthday. We cannot accept vouchers in payment towards music lessons or other extra-curricular activities.

Notice of Withdrawal of a Pupil or Change of Status

In accordance with the School’s terms and conditions, a full term’s notice must be given in writing if you wish to withdraw your child from the School. Failing such notice, a full term’s fees will be charged.
