Scholarships and Awards
11+ SCHOLARSHIPS
The School offers scholarships and exhibitions for 11+ for excellence in academic studies, music, sport, art, drama and product design technology.
Awards up to 20% of full fees can be made and these can be supported by bursaries where financial need is demonstrated. The number of awards given in each category depends upon the calibre of the applicants.
Scholarship applications are now open for September 2024 entry. The deadline for applications is 29th September, with assessments taking place on the week beginning 13th October.

ALL-THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS
Many Senior Schools enjoy welcoming pupils with scholarships from their Prep Schools. Scholarships at Dean Close St John’s are particularly long-standing, as St John’s is a Dean Close Foundation school, our scholarships apply throughout their education, from Prep school into Senior School and Sixth Form.
