Visits and Open Days 

 

It's our pleasure to welcome you to Dean Close St John’s for a visit, either for an Open Morning or personal visit, online or in person. We believe it is essential for each family to gain a feel of the school to understand what school life at St John’s is really all about. 

School Open Mornings

We look forward to welcoming you at our Open Morning events - whether you are looking for a place for your child in our Kindergarten, Reception, Prep or Senior Prep classes, our Open Mornings are the perfect opportunity to see the school facilities and meet our wonderful teachers and pupils, and discover what makes us distinctly different. 

Upcoming Open Morning dates for 2025/26:

  • Friday, 13th February 2026

  • Friday, 13th March 2026

  • Friday, 15th May 2026

The morning begins at 9:00am with coffee in the Head’s office, followed by a guided tour led by our senior pupils. This is a fantastic chance to see the school through their eyes—and they’re always happy to answer any questions along the way!

After the tour, we invite you to join us in the Embassy Room for an informal chat with the Head and some of our teaching staff. It’s a relaxed setting to discuss any questions you may have and learn more about life at our school.

We plan to wrap up the morning at 11:00am, but if you have more questions or would like to stay longer, you are very welcome to do so.

If you missed one of our Open Mornings but would still like to visit, we’d be delighted to welcome you for a personal tour. Please contact us at admissions@deanclosestjohns.org.uk to arrange a time that suits you.
