St John's Shines at Severnside Athletics Meet

A group of 18 enthusiastic children from St John’s participated in the 37th annual Severnside Athletics Meet held on Friday, 17th May at Beaudesert. The event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their talents.

The afternoon was filled with thrilling performances and outstanding efforts from all participants. Among the highlights, Millie stood out with her exceptional speed, securing a very close 2nd place in both the 100m and 200m races. Henson also demonstrated impressive athleticism, running a very speedy 800m and finishing in 2nd place.

In the field events, we had many participants who tried new throwing or jumping events. Maisie impressed, as she won the U12 Long Jump.

Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon where every student enjoyed competing in new events and gave their best efforts. Well done, everyone!
