School Life

Dean Close St John’s is a close-knit, family-orientated school with excellent pastoral support aimed at children aged 3 - 13 years old. We nurture creativity, curiosity and compassionate leadership in all our pupils at all ages.

St John’s Pre-Prep is for pupils aged 3 and above. The Pre-Prep welcomes children into the Kindergarten (age 3) or Reception (age 4), and encourages pupils to be curious and persistent learners - excited by, and interested in, the world around them.

At St John’s Prep School we welcome children aged 7 and above. For years 7 & 8 pupils move up into Senior Prep, for two years that years are vital to their development, preparing them for senior school and their future success.

We endeavour to develop a passion for life and this is nurtured in a secure environment, where individuality is celebrated.
