Faith

Our Christian values underpin all that we do as a school. We believe that building a strong foundation based on Love, Courage and Contribution gives the children the chance to grow long-lasting and positive friendships that are created on shared values. We welcome children and families from all faiths or secular backgrounds, and hope that our inclusive approach ensures questions relating to religion and spirituality can be shared openly.

We have a church service for the prep school once every half term, with the Foundation Chaplain coming down regularly to lead assemblies. We also mark occasions such as Remembrance Day and we hold a whole school Carol service and Christingle service to celebrate Christmas. Awe and wonder should be at the heart of learning and by encouraging children to explore our world to the full, we firmly believe that must include questions around faith.
