St Johnian Alumni

We are proud of our Alumni, who are leading the way in medicine, ecology, policy, sport and TV.
Old St Johnians have worked in costume design, written scripts for Doctor Who, and re-rigged the Cutty Sark. One is now a Master of Wine, one of only a few in the world. Others are journalists for The Times. There are car restorers, racers, and land speed record engineers; artists, authors, and filmmakers; Majors, barristers, professional rugby players and surgeons. All are as individual and inspiring as our pupils today.

Old St Johnian Alumni Society

Dean Close St John’s School wants to keep in touch with as many former pupils as possible. Our alumni are a large part of our history and our future.

The Society was established to enable former pupils and staff to remain in contact with one another and the School. It does this by holding social events at the School for Old St Johnians as well as inviting members to events that the School hold for the community. Members of the Society are kept up to date with School news and there are forums for memories to be shared. There is also a dedicated school archive overseen by an Archivist, this resource is available to members. Membership is free and is part of the benefit of being a pupil at Dean Close St John’s School.
